PhD student position at the University of Helsinki, Institute of Biomedicine A PhD student position is available at the University of Helsinki, Institute of Biomedicine, Biomedicum, in a project investigating paracrine signaling networks in regenerative processes.

The project utilizes both clinical and experimental research models, and is funded by a bilateral program between TEKES and the Japan Science andTechnology Agency (JST). Candidates will be considered until the position is filled.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a background in cell biology or biochemistry. The work will include cell culturing, patient sample processing as well as working with experimental models, viral vectors, various microscopy techniques, and basic analytical techniques.
