Dear all,

The faculty has appointed Tomi Määttä, a current 4th year biochemist to help current 2nd year students who did not pass all of the compulsory 1st year chemistry courses. Tommi will be arranging a suitable first tutorial time and room with Jari Heikkinen and will then be in contact with you.

The 2nd year timetable will be rearranged so that there are no clashes with compulsory or recommended 2nd year classes and 1st year chemistry exams so that everyone can attend the exams as needed.

I would urge those 2nd year students that are missing a compulsory 1st year chemistry course to use this opportunity to collect the courses. From the 3rd year onwards you will be based on the Kontinkangas campus and this will make it more difficult to collect Linnanmaa based credits.
