OpenCon Oulu - Seminar on Open Science on December 2nd 2015
Publishers limiting access to scientific literature? Tired of academic hypercompetition, ready for more collaboration? Don't like being evaluated by ambiguous and uninformative metrics like the Journal Impact Factor?
Open Science may be for you.
Open Science is an international movement for greater transparency in every phase of the research process. Despite its growing importance, Open Science is still not taught to or discussed with students and early career academics at Finnish universities. To fix this, OpenCon Oulu brings experts on Open Access, Open Data and other aspects of Open Science to discuss these matters with interested parties. Come take a glimpse of the future of science!
