Dear all,
There appears to be some confusion about the length of the Pro Gradu.
There are currently 2 options:
1) Old system. The experimental part is maximally 6 months, the total credits (including thesis) is 48op
2) New system, variable length. The minimal length of the experimental part is 3 months (total credits including thesis is 30op). The experimental part can be increased by 5op per 3 weeks, up to a maximum of an addition 30op (so 60op in total). This makes the maximal length of the Pro Gradu experimental part 3 months + 18 weeks (about seven and a half months).
Students can switch from old to new system at any time during the experimental period (notifying me) and can change the length of the New system Pro Gradu at any time during the experimental period (notifying me)
There may be changes coming to the thesis write-up, but these do NOT change the credits awarded.
Hope this makes sense. If not, please see me.
Lloyd
