We are looking for a PhD in cell and molecular biology to research projects focusing on 3D modelling of osteosarcoma to our research team in translational research at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial diseases, University of Helsinki; (https://www.helsinki.fi/en/researchgroups/translational-research-on-oral-and...)
The position is available immediately for one year with the possibility of extension. You will be the part of the multifaceted projects aimed at understanding the role of extracellular vesicles in osteosarcoma development and progression; developing 3D models for osteosarcoma; bone tissue engineering/applications of biomaterials and stem cells. In addition to strong written and oral communication skills, experience with techniques in cell and molecular biology, cell imaging, RNA sequencing, biochemistry and bioengineering are considered favorable. In addition to English language, command of Finnish language both spoken and written is considered beneficial.
