Mouse dissection room 477B out of use

Dear all, The mouse dissection room 477B in Kieppi 4th floor will be emptied and decontaminated this week. >From week 11 onwards, to prevent spreading of the norovirus, mice from the conventional facility are not allowed in the room anymore. Laboratories for dissection are available in the conventional facility, please contact the KEKS personnel for instructions. If you have material in the room that you want to keep, please remove as soon as possible. Information about decontamination will be sent separately. BCO TG core facility Raija Soininen

Dear Imaging People, 4th Oulu BioImaging Day will be organized on April 16th 2015. http://www.oulu.fi/obi/obi-day-2015 A new "OBI Science Image Contest" will be launched for the first time this year. It is open for all within Oulu University and Oulu University Hospital. The subject matter is unrestricted and images can depict an object or phenomenon from any discipline. Detailed information and instructions how to participate: http://www.oulu.fi/obi/obi-day-2015 An upload link and a gallery for the images have been opened now, and they can be found from the OBI Day web page or directly HERE<https://notio.oulu.fi/sites/bcobiocenteroulu/OBI%20Science%20Image%20Contes…>. Please refer the rules before submitting your pictures. There will be a good prize and extra fame and visibility for the winner.
