Hi all, To simplify our invoicing procedures we would like you to make a service request in iLab whenever you collect TEM fixative from the cold room. Hyvät laboratorioissa työskentelevät, Muistutus laboratoriohanskojen käytöstä. Erilaisten kontaminaatioiden välttämiseksi laboratoriossa käytettyjä hanskoja ei saa käyttää laboratorion ulkopuolella vaan ne on riisuttava. Tämä on yleinen laboratorioturvallisuussääntö. Siten esimerkiksi hanskat kädessä ei tule käyttää yleisiä kopiokoneita tai tietokoneita, tai koskea ovenkahvoja ym., jotta ne eivät vahingossa kontaminoidu. Mahdolliset kontaminaatiot leviävät myös toiseen suuntaan eli hanskoissa käynti laboratorion ulkopuolella mahdollistaa kontaminaation siirtymisen puhtaisiin laboratoriotiloihin. Dear laboratory workers, A kind reminder about the use of laboratory gloves. In order to avoid contamination, laboratory gloves must not be used outside the laboratory but must be removed. This is a general laboratory safety rule. Thus, for example, you should not use general copiers or computers with gloves on, or touch door handles, etc., so that they are not accidentally contaminated. Possible contamination also spreads in the other direction, i.e., wearing gloves outside the laboratory enables transfer of contaminants to clean laboratory premises.
