Opiskelijoiden järjestämä joulujuhla 1. joulukuuta

Hei, Tiedekuntamme opiskelijat, aktiiviset Terwaspeksiläiset, järjestävät jälleen perinteisen joulujuhlan, johon Sinut on kutsuttu mukaan. Joulujuhlaa vietetään 1.12.2021 klo 08.00 alkaen Kieppi-rakennuksen aulassa, Aapistie 5 A. Aamuiseen joulujuhlaan on mahdollisuus osallistua myös etäyhteydellä, jonka linkki lähetetään myöhemmin. Tilaisuudessa on tarjolla laulua, tanssia ja muuta pientä ohjelmaa. Tiedekunnan dekaani tuo myös tilaisuuteen tervehdyksensä. Esitysten jälkeen siirrymme ravintola Medisiinaan nauttimaan riisipuuroa (kuka saa mantelin?!?!) sekä glögiä ja speksiläisten valmistamia joulutorttuja. Opiskelijoiden järjestämästä joulujuhlasta saamme polkaista käyntiin joulun odotuksen. Viime vuonna, kun saimme osallistua joulujuhlaan vain etänä, kirjoitin, että tilaisuuden pukukoodi siellä omalla kotisohvalla on villasukat ja mukillinen kahvia. Ehkä tämä oli otettu joillakin sohvilla kirjaimellisesti, sillä sain hyvää palautetta tästä pukukoodista. Nyt voisimme ilahduttaa itseämme ja toisiamme ja pukea päähän tonttulakin. Tule mukaan 1.12. aamuiseen joulujuhlaan hakemaan hyvää mieltä ja vatsan täytteeksi riisipuuroa! Iloisin terveisin, Tiedekunnan Anne-tonttu

Hi all, The service work starts around 16.00 on Thursday this week and lasts approx. 3-4 hours . The air conditioning will be off in the areas marked in green (2nd, 3rd and 4th floors) on the attached pictures. Please note that this will affect also the laminar hoods in labs and cell cultures so plan your lab work accordingly. BRs, Antti

Whos berries are in our freezer

Hi! Someone has been storing their berries in our -20-degree room (H323A) for quite some time already. That is a place for laboratory reagents and samples, not for personal use! Dear All, Please pay attention to the kitchen sinks. Do not leave any rubbish in the strainer for the next person to clean it after you. It is much harder to clean if & when it dries up in the strainer. Empty the strainer in to the bio trash container e.g. tea leaves and any other bits of food. To remove the strainer is not a solution and the strainer is in the sink for a good reason. The kitchen sink is not a place to try to get rid of left overs - instead use the bio trash container - because in time these little bits will cause blockages and damage the drainage. Hei kaikki, Ethän jätä keittiön altaan siivilään jäljiltäsi roskia ? Kuivuttuaan ne ovat paljon vaikeampi puhdistaa. Tyhjennä jätteet siivilästä bioastiaan esim. teelehdet ja ruokajätteet. Älä myöskään poista siivilää altaasta. Sen tarkoitus on estää roskien päätyminen viemäriin. Ajan myötä roskat tukkivat viemärin ja aiheuttavat kaikenlaista ylimääräistä häikkää. Hi everyone, Have anybody seen MicroSEQ 500 16s rDNA sequencing kit (similar kit as an attachment, little box) somewhere put maybe in freezer at Kieppi building? We had delivery for this kit earlier from the hospital (OYS) and a courier delivered it to wrong place and don't know where.
