Today the levels are 20 times higher than the acceptable ones. The measurement (shown above) was done on the 4th floor, and the situation gets worse with lower floor count. I am not sure if the university has sent out a memo regarding this, but this is extremely dangerous for most living beings. We have put evacuation order for our staff. The environment here is toxic (literally). Please inform the relevant authorities to do an air inspection. Refill of liquid nitrogen

Hi, when using the liquid nitrogen from tanks in room 402A (groups Eklund/Manninen/Vainio/Wei), PUT A REFILL-LABEL ON THEM WHEN THE TANKS ARE EMPTIED! Only those tanks that have the label are filled up, and that only happens once a week, so if you don't put the label on you and your precious samples will have to manage without nitrogen. Please always check the situation when using nitrogen and teach all new employees and students to obey this rule, too. As always, BCO-NAS1 is not meant for permanent storage of the data! Storing data only on your local or external hard drives is not recommended!
