DWA-välinehuolto: RINSE the dishes and especially the agar containing erlenmeyers!

Hei tänään tiskiin tuli monta erlenmeyeria, joissa oli agaria. Yhdessä oli lähes kiinteää geeliä ellu puolillaan! Muistakaa tyhjentää erlat ja huuhtokaa ne kuumalla vedellä. Vielä lopuksi erla tulee täyttää vedellä. Näin vältämme agarin kulkeutumisen tiskikoneisiin ja palamisen kiinni lasin pintaan. Kuivunut agar ei irtoa pesun aikana. Huuhdellaan pullot, -virpi Hello today the DWA unit received several erlenmeyers with agar inside. One of them was half full of semisolid agar! Please remember to empty the erlenmeyers and rinse them with hot water. After that you have to fill up the erlenmeyer with water. All this has to be done in order to avoid agar debris in wash machines and burning of agar on the surface of the erlenmeyer. Let's rinse the bottles -virpi . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4th floor coffee room fridge

Just a reminder... ALWAYS remove old food items and containers from the fridge. Same goes for half empty containers and jars... take them home instead of leaving them to spoil in the fridge. The fridge will be cleaned this week so remove all food containers, others perishables and extra items. Also check the freezer for any forgotten items. Nothing to drains and no use of toilets on Saturday

Those planning to work on Saturday: No use of toilets or drains in the 3rd and 4th floor in Aapistie 5A Kieppi building (during 7am-7pm). They are fixing the drain pipes/sewer system.
