Medivire health care organization will carry out the analysis of our working environment in this Kieppi Building and evaluate the possible health risks in our work in January 2007 in the following dates (contact person in parenthesis):

-transgenic mice core facilities (Jonna Laakso)

-histology core facilities (Jonna Laakso)

Wednesday 31st of January 2007

-radio isotope laboratory (Pekka Kilpeläinen)

-virus laboratory (Aki Manninen)

-dish washing rooms (Tuula Väisänen)

- research groups:

Hallman (Reetta Vuolteenaho)

Kesäniemi (Maarit Jokela)

Pihlajaniemi (Lauri Eklund)

Vainio (Jaana Kujala)

Each group should fill in the risk assessment formula for physical risks and return by December 20th, 2006 to Katja Sirviö-Määttä at Medivire by e-mail (katja.sirvio-maatta(at)medivire.fi). The contact person should take care of discussing with people and filling the formula. Each individual should fill in the risk assessment formula for mental load and return it to Katja Sirviö-Määttä either via e-mail or as a paper copy through internal university mail. The formula for mental load can be submitted anonymously.

I enclose the formulae both as Finnish and as dual Finnish/English versions. If you have any questions please do contact either Katja Sirviö-Määttä or me (only easy questions).
