Hei, Leica valomikroskoopin päivitys suoritetaan viikolla 24 eli mikroskoopilla ei voi ottaa kuvia 10.6. alkaen. Mikroskooppi on todennäköisesti toimintakunnossa viikon 25 alusta lähtien. Hi, The Leica microscope update is done at week 24, i.e., it is not possible to take pictures with a microscope 10.6. onwards. Those who have heard him earlier, know that he is an excellent and inspiring speaker! Professor Scott Gilbert is the Howard A. Schneiderman Professor of Biology (emeritus) at Swarthmore College, where he has taught developmental genetics, embryology, and the history and critiques of biology. Prof. Gilbert has written several textbooks, and for example Developmental Biology (now in its tenth edition) is one of the most widely used textbooks in the field. Dear all, IncuCyte S3 Follow Up Training will take place on June 5th 2019 in seminar room 286A, starting at 9:00. In the morning session 9:00-12:00 Matthew Tomlinson from Sartorius will go through the basics of Incucyte S3 for new users. In the afternoon session starting at 13:00 we have time for Q&A session where users can consult with data that has been acquired since the first training or go through more specific analysis questions. They have identified a specific endocytic collagen receptor, Endo180/uPARAP, with important functions in fibrosis, immunity, lymphangiogenesis and cancer invasion. Dear researchers, we will arrange two Academy of Finland info sessions here at Kontinkangas before the autumn call. The first one will be on June 10 at 14-16 in 105A (Kieppi 1st floor, Aapistie 5A).
