The proposed doctoral training activities may comprise e.g. field-specific courses, symposia, workshops or alike targeted mainly to doctoral students. EU 3rd Health programme action calls

Dear researchers, The 3rd Health programme is a separate programme within the EU and has its own funding scheme. The working programme for 2020 has now been published and there will be some calls open for proposals from consortia (minimum of 3 organizations from 3 EU countries). The funding is 60% or 80% depending on certain criteria. Järjestämme Biocenterin kanssa yhteistyössä western blot ja geelinkuvantamiseen keskittyvän seminaarin huomenna kello 12 Biocenterin 4. kerroksen kokoushuoneessa 487B. Tervetuloa kuulemaan markkinoiden uusimmasta kamerapohjaisesta kuvantamislaitteesta Azuren 600:sta lisää ja mitä uutta se voi tarjota WB ja geelikuvantamiseen. Jan Wolfram Azurelta kertoo myös miten Azure voi auttaa tulosten kvantitaatiossa house-keeping proteiinien sijaan. Tiedoksi Kustantajien Open Access -etuja (For English, please see below) Oulun yliopisto (ml. sairaala) on tilaajana useissa FinElib-konsortion lehtikustantajien kanssa neuvottelemissa sopimuksissa. Sopimuksiin sisältyy alennus tai ilmaisia Open Access artikkeleita seuraavien kustantajien lehdissä: Elsevier, Springer Nature, Emerald, American Chemical Society (ACS), Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Wolters Kluiwer/Lippincott, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Alennuksen oa-maksusta tai ilmaisen oa-artikkelin edellytyksenä on, että artikkelin vastaava kirjoittaja (Corresponding author) on affilioitunut Oulun yliopistoon ja ilmoittaa lähettäessään artikkelia osoitteekseen Oulun yliopiston. Lisäksi on käytettävä @oulu.fi -sähköpostiosoitetta (tai @ppshp.fi). Kustantajan järjestelmä tunnistaa edellä mainittujen tietojen perusteella vastaavan kirjoittajan ja ehdottaa alennusta.
