An OYSTER incubator with a health and life science focus will open in Oulu in the autumn, with more material attached. Startup thinking can be practiced at the STARTUP WEEKEND event on 12-14.4. More information about this event below. You can come to Startup Weekend without your own idea, i.e. to be part of a team and embrace the startup mindset. A great safe place to practice, learn and get excited!

It's that time of the year again - Startup Weekend is just around the corner, ready to rock your world!

đ Where: Startup Station, Hallituskatu 36A, Oulu
Spend weekend learning how to build a startup from scratch. Over an action-packed three days, you will have a chance to find your future co-founders, learn from expert keynotes, meet local mentors to help you take your idea from concept to a real business!
đ¤ Who is Startup Weekend for?
Everyone - Startup Weekend program is designed as an inclusive event that brings diverse people to one place. You can be student of any background, talent or professional looking to build new skills, aspiring and even experienced entrepreneur!
đĄ Do I need to have an idea?
If you have an idea for a startup, then great! We hope you pitch it on Friday.
If you don't have an idea - come and see if something strikes your interest. The weekend is all about teamwork and learning from each other.
đ¸ What is included in the ticket price?
Your ticket will give you access to the valuable content of the weekend, including workshops from experts on validation and pitching, help from local mentors and support throughout the whole weekend from our energizing facilitator (coming all the way from US đą) - Nathan Minns!
