[Genetics] Journal Club on Wednesday May 22 at 14.30

Hi all,

Geneticists' Journal Club meets again next week, on Wednesday 22nd at 14.30 in the lobby of Ympäristötietotalo. We will read the attached Molecular Ecology paper by Verta et al. ("Are long-lived trees poised for evolutionary change? Single locus effects in the evolution of gene expression networks in spruce"). I also attach a short perspective paper that deals with the same issue (entitled "A new approach to quantify the adaptive potential of gene expression variation in gymnosperms").
