Tule fasilitaattoriksi ensi syksyn Self-Hackiin

Hei Self-Hack järjestetään tulevana syksynä kaikille uusille aloittaville opiskelijoille osana orientaatioviikkoa. Tapahtumaan haetaan nyt opiskelijoita toimimaan fasilitaattoreina ja ohjaamaan uusien opiskelijoiden toimintaa päivän aikana. Jokainen fasilitaattori saa koulutuksen tehtävään ja pääsee myös itse tekemään Self-Hackin. Lisätietoa ja ilmoittautumiset täällä: https://www.oulu.fi/selfhack/node/58871 UniOulu Self-Hack järjestetään tänä vuonna perjantaina 4.9. klo 10–15. Tapahtuman tavoitteena on tukea opiskelijoiden opintopolun suunnittelua, ryhmäytymistä, tasapainoisen opiskelijaelämän luomista sekä kiinnittymistä yliopistoomme ja omaan tutkinto-ohjelmaan. Self-Hack toteutetaan yhteistyössä tamperelaisen Creativity Squadsin kanssa. Päivän aikana fasilitaattorit varmistavat, että työskentely sujuu mukavasti, opiskelijat pysyvät aikataulussa ja että ilmapiiri on rento ja turvallinen. Fasilitaattoreilta odotetaan motivaatiota olla mukana auttamassa uusia opiskelijoita yliopistoon ja uusiin opintoihin orientoitumisessa, osallistumista tehtävän vaatimaan koulutukseen kevään tai alkusyksyn aikana ja innostusta olla mukana luomassa yhteisöllistä opintojen aloitustapahtumaa. Tehtävän myötä fasilitaattorit oppivat Self-Hackin menetelmän sekä pedagogisia taitoja, saavat työkaluja oman tulevaisuuden hahmottamiseen ja design-ajatteluun, virallisen Self-Hack-sertifikaatin ja yliopiston kollegepaidan. Lisäksi toiminnasta voi saada 5 opintopistettä ja samalla pääsee tutustumaan fukseihin aivan uudella tavalla. Päivän aluksi jokaiselle tiedekunnalle järjestetään oma alkuinfo klo 10:00 alkaen, minkä jälkeen opiskelijat jaetaan ryhmiin tutkinto-ohjelmittain. Opiskelijaryhmät jatkavat päivää oman fasilitaattorin johdolla eri puolilla yliopistoa. Päivän aikataulu: 10:00-10:45 Tapahtuman aloitus, ryhmiin jako 10:45-11:15 Empatisointi: keskustelu ryhmissä 11:15-12:00 Määrittely: Oman elämän osa-alueiden määrittely, haasteiden tunnistaminen 12:00-12:30 Lounastauko 12:30-13:45 Ideointi: Elämäntarina, omat arvot 13:45-14:30 Mallintaminen: vaihtoehtoiset elämäntarinat, omat tavoitteet 14:30-15:00 Testaus: oma roadmap, loppukeskustelu, palautekysely, lopetus ja kohti uutta elämää HUOM. Every facilitator will get a training for the task and a possibility to do Self-Hack for themselves. The aim of this event is to support students in planning their studies, integration, creating balanced student life and having the sense of belonging to our university and their field of study. The event will be organised in collaboration with Creativity Squads. During the day, facilitators ensure a safe and nice working environment, keep the students on schedule and help students when needed. Facilitators are expected to be motivated in helping students to integrate in their studies and student life, participate in the training during spring or August, and enthusiastic for creating a memorable starting event for studies. By participating, facilitators learn the Self-Hack method and pedagogical skills, get tools for planning the future and design thinking, official Self-Hack certificate and university of Oulu college shirt. It is also possible to get 5 credits and get to know the new students in a new way. The day itself starts with an introduction for each faculty at 10 AM. From there, students will continue the day with their facilitators in small groups. (in English below) Hei! Tervetuloa mukaan tekemään maailman parasta oululaista wappuradiota! Rattoradion Wapun 2020 ohjelmahaku käynnistyy juuri nyt. Tuttuun tyyliin tarvetta olisi monenlaiselle ohjelmalle ja tekijälle Rattoradioon. Aiempina vuosina studiossa on kuulunut kaikkea Disneyn soundtrackeista tiukasti käsikirjoitettuihin näytelmiin, yliopiston hallituksen puheenjohtajan haastattelusta örinäheviin, ja aivan kaikkea siltä väliltä. Mikäli sinulla on siis idea ohjelmaksi, älä aikaile vaan kerro se meille. Mieti, millaisen ohjelman haluaisit tehdä ja kysele ihmisiä ympäriltäsi mukaan tekemään sitä. Ennen kuin ilmoitat upeasta ohjelmaideastasi, niin pohdi seuraavat asiat läpi: - keksi kevyt julkaisukelpoinen kuvaus (tätä pääsee muokkaamaan vielä myöhemmin) - mihin aikaan päivästä ja viikosta se voisi olla hyvä lähettää? - kuinka pitkä ohjelman tulisi olla? - onko ohjelmalle jo toimittaja(t) ja tuottaja? If you have an idea for a program, do not hesitate to submit it. Think about what kind of a show you would like to do, and ask your friends to collaborate with you. Hyvä bioalan opiskelija, Societas biochemica, biophysica et microbiologica Fenniae eli Biobio-seura on valtakunnallinen tieteellinen yhdistys, jonka tavoitteena on edistää biotieteellistä tutkimusta ja toimintaa Suomessa. Seuran perusti A.I. Virtanen vuonna 1946, ja se kuuluu alansa kansainvälisiin kattojärjestöihin, joiden tapahtumiin ja apurahahakuihin seuran jäsenet voivat osallistua. Biobio-seuralla on neljä alajaosta, joista yksi on Oulun Biotieteellinen Seura. Oulun Biotieteellisen Seuran jäsenenä olet siis myös Biobio-seuran jäsen, ja myös kansainvälisten kattojärjestöjen jäsen. Kattojärjestöistä ja niiden jakamista apurahamahdollisuuksista löytyy lisätietoa Biobio-seuran nettisivuilta www.biobio.org<http://www.biobio.org>. [In English Below] Histoni ry:n 50. vuosijuhlat tulevat keväällä 2021 ja histonit ovat jo valmiina! Vuosijuhlat ovat killan tai ainejärjestön arvokkain juhla, joka näkyy mm. juhlan ohjelmassa ja pukeutumisessa (pukukoodi tummapuku ja naisilla pitkä iltapuku). Subject: PhD student position available in the Kidney development lab located in Meilahti campus at HiLIFE, University of Helsinki PhD student position available in the Kidney development lab located in Meilahti campus at HiLIFE at the University of Helsinki The projects focus on studying stem / progenitor cell biology developing kidney and aim to understand causes of congenital renal malformations in humans. Our group studies renal development with the help of different genetically modified mouse models and different in vitro culture systems. We are specifically interested in understanding how kidney growth through ureteric bud branching morphogenesis is regulated and which kind of cellular events drive its complex pattern. Our projects also explore how growth factor induced signaling controls nephron progenitors during their self-renewal and differentiation into the functional units of the kidneys, the nephrons.
