PlexPress Oy is a VTT spin-off company developing and commercializing a high-content gene expression analysis platform called TRAC for global markets. The company offers its TRAC analysis kits and services to pharmaceutical customers for drug discovery and safety assays, enabling higher throughput and more information than competitors’ products. We are looking for skillful personnel to complete our young, energetic and innovative team:
Application scientist
to develop gene expression analysis methods as part of the technical team. The tasks include assay development and optimization, application development, carrying out customer pilot projects, and commercialization of services and products.
We expect you to have:
•ᾉPrevious experience with nucleic acid analysis technologies
•ᾉPrevious experience with assay and product development and project management
•ᾉMSc or PhD level education in a relevant field (e.g. Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology)
•ᾉGood English skills (both verbal and written)
•ᾉAnalytical way of thinking, troubleshooting skills, customer oriented mindset.
