Hei, Sain tällaisen viestin: "Eilisen vahingon laajuuden selvittelyt ovat vielä pahasti kesken. Ensiapua on tehty ja tullaan suorittamaan lähipäivinä. Kosteustutkija pääsee huomenna iltapäivästä paikalle, hänen raporttinsa mukaisesti suoritetaan kuivaus- ja korjaustyöt." Eli ilmoitan teille heti kun tiedän tarkempia aikatauluja korjausten suhteen. Jos teillä on jotain eksperimenttejä, jota ette voi suorittaa omassa labrassa, ainakin ihotautien ja sisätautien labroista löytyy jonkin verran työskentelytilaa. The guest speaker is Dr. Katsuyuki Yugi, Team Leader from the Laboratory for Integrated Cellular Systems, RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences, Yokohama, Japan Laboratory for Integrated Cellular Systems | RIKEN IMS<https://www.ims.riken.jp/labo/58/index.html> The title of his presentation is " Trans-omics: integration of multiple omic data on the basis of reaction kinetics" The primary research interests of his research group are: 1. Reconstructing global metabolic regulatory networks in a 'trans-omic' (*) manner 2. Developing methods for trans-omics They perform experiments using mammalian cells to obtain biological samples for measuring time-series omic data of multiple layers. Resultant multi-omic data are subjected to computational analysis for reconstruction of global metabolic regulatory networks, which come across multiple omic layers. (*) Trans-omic(s) : A discipline to reconstruct a global and multi-layered biochemical network not as a group of indirect statistical correlations but as chains of direct mechanistic molecular interactions, from comprehensive data of multi-omic layers not taken from heterogeneous sources but measured under an identical condition. Hei, keskiviikkona työpäivän päättyessä sattui Kiepissä vesivahinko. Neloskerroksen histolabrassa olevan MilliQ laitteiston vesiletkun liitin oli murtunut ja vettä ehti valua lattialle ja alempiin kerroksiin ennen kuin vuoto huomattiin ja paikannettiin. Paikalle tuli palokunta joka imuroi enimmät vedet kastuneista tiloista, kuivausta jatkettiin ISS:n kanssa. CRC:llä vettä tuli pääosin lastenneurologian laboratorioon. ISS jatkaa tilojen kuivaamista ja tarkastamista sähkömiesten kanssa torstaina. Neurologian, lastenneurologian ja lastentautien laboratoriossa on hyvä välttää sähkölaitteiden käyttöä kunnes sähkömiehet ovat todenneet sen turvalliseksi. On Wednesday, at the end of the working day, there was a water damage in Kieppi. Hose coupling of the MilliQ equipment broke in the histolab on the fourth floor which led to water leakage into the floors below before it was noticed. The fire department came and vacuumed most of the water, drying was continued with ISS. At CRC, water mainly leaked to the pediatric neurology laboratory. ISS will continue to inspect the premises with electricians on Thursday. In the laboratory of neurology, pediatric neurology and pediatrics, it is good to avoid using electrical equipment until the electricians have checked it as safe. Hei, tässä lyhyt yhteenveto kokouksen asioista. Brief summary in English below. Soluviljelijöiden kokous to 18.4.2024 Yhteenveto 1. Hiilidioksidipullojen vaihtoväli on selkeästi pidentynyt usealla viikolla eli vuotokohdan osan vaihtaminen on korjannut tilanteen. 2. Anja tekee mykoplasmatestin ti 21.5. Hän on lomalla maanantaina 20.5. joten näytteiden toimitus hänelle viimeistään ti 21.5. klo 9 aamulla. 3. Keskusteltiin useamman pipetboyn uusimisesta. Pipettoreihin on vaihdettu akut viime vuonna mutta se ei korjannut toimintaa pitempiaikaisesti. Laskettiin, että yhteensä 7 uutta pipetboyta tarvittaisiin laminaareihin. Antti on kysynyt tarjouksia Citylabista ja alla tarkemmin. Keskustellaan tilattavasta mallista tarkemmin seuraavassa CRC:n labrakokouksessa 8.5. 4. Seuraava soluviljelijöiden kokous to 6.6.24 klo 13.00 CRC:n kahvihuoneessa. Cell Culture Meeting Thu 18.4.2024 Summary 1. The interval between changing the carbon dioxide bottles has clearly increased by several weeks, which means that changing the part of the leak point has corrected the situation. 2. Anja will do a mycoplasma test on Tue 21.5. Shee will be on vacation on Monday 20.5. so the samples should be delivered to her no later than Tue 21.5. at 9 in the morning. 3. We discussed renewing several pipetboys. The batteries for the pipettes were changed last year, but it did not correct the operation for a longer period of time. It was calculated that a total of 7 new pipetboys would be needed for the laminars. Antti has asked for offers from Citylab and more details below. We will discuss the model to be ordered in more detail at the next CRC lab meeting on 8.5. 4. The next meeting is on Thursday 6.6.2024 at 1:00 PM in the CRC coffee room. Kliinisten lääketutkimusten transitio CTIS-järjestelmään

Kliinisten lääketutkimusten siirto EU-asetuksen mukaisiksi ja CTIS-järjestelmään Kaikki meneillään olevat lääketutkimusdirektiivin mukaiset kliiniset lääketutkimukset, joissa on vähintään yksi aktiivinen tutkimuskeskus 30.1.2025 jälkeen, tulee siirtää EU-asetuksen mukaisiksi ja EU-portaaliin (CTIS-järjestelmä). Käytännössä transitiohakemus tulee jättää CTIS-järjestelmässä ennen 16.10.2024, jotta Fimea ja Tukija ehtivät käsitellä hakemuksen ennen siirtymäajan päättymistä 30.1.2025. Tutkimusta ei saa jatkaa direktiivin mukaisena siirtymäajan päättymisen jälkeen. Transitio koskee kaikkia tutkimuksia, joilla on EudraCT-numero. DWA-välinehuolto: autoclaving of biological waste moves to Kieppi because of the broken waste autoclave

Dear all Unfortunately, from today, September 13th, we have to start autoclaving all biological waste in Kieppi. Please, carry all your biological waste for disposal in Kieppi DWA unit room 237B. You will find clean autoclave bins in room 239B. The waste autoclave in FBMM site cannot be used because of a broken pump. I will inform you when the waste autoclave is back in use and waste will be autoclaved in FBMM site again. The dish washing and clean item autoclaving remains in FBMM DWA unit.
